RMC’s physical therapists work with the patient’s physician to design an individualized plan of care to meet specific goals.  The program focuses on restoration of pain free, independent movement that allows the patient to return to more independent living, school, sport, leisure, community and work.
 
Outpatient physical therapy addresses disease, injury and birth defects suffered in the community.  Inpatient programs focus on stretching, strengthening, mobilization, myofascial massage, traction, balance training, and modalities such as whirlpool, aquatics, ultrasound, heat/cold and electrical stimulation.
